Description

The Pharmacy Transformative Products Team is responsible for rapidly identifying, researching, evaluating, and deploying new transformational business opportunities to support Humana Pharmacy's growth. The OTC Lead will be responsible for developing and leading OTC associated novel business opportunities to ensure successful design and implementation of concept.

As the OTC Lead, you will be accountable for leading and coordinating the strategy and execution of transformative solutions supporting the growth of Humana's Pharmacy. Working closely with cross-functional team members to support in the advancement of new business opportunities, you have accountability from idea conceptualization to design to delivery of fully developed solutions that meet the needs of the customers and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience with product development, healthcare/ life sciences consulting, pharmacy operations and/or coordinating work across cross-functional teams to create meaningful health care experiences. Accountable for developing and supporting new pharmacy programs to achieve Humana's strategic and business goals

Solve unique and complex problems requiring integrated solutions with broad impact on the Humana's pharmacy business

Analyze industry trends, customer needs, competitive landscape through market research

Build financial models and perform relevant analyses to deliver data-driven insights supporting the desirability, feasibility and viability of solutions

Present strong business opportunities to senior leadership and influence Pharmacy Leadership Team to adopt transformational opportunities through data-backed analysis

Provides strategic recommendations on new opportunities, assesses customer and stakeholder needs and builds ROI driven business plans

Partners closely with operations, digital, customer success teams, product and/or marketing team to drive the product evaluation and piloting

Accountable for defining the value proposition and go-to-market strategy of new concepts

Responsible for converting concepts into business cases and pilots while prioritizing timelines

Responsible for providing timely and accurate information and status updates to P&L and functional leaders

Monitors performance of piloted opportunities and recommends enhancements, gaps, cost adjustments or discontinue investment

Role Essentials

Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or other related fields

6 years of relevant experience in product development, healthcare consulting, business development or investment banking

Minimum of 3 years of health care experience, preferably in the payer and/or pharmacy market

Experience leading the development of business cases and financial plans, engaging and aligning related business leaders throughout the process

Strong business acumen and analytical skills with proven ability to apply foundational strategy principles to a variety of business problems

Ability to drive significant transformation

Experience performing complex business analyses, including financial, operational, and human capital, around new business opportunities, and forming the analysis into actionable recommendations and plans

Competence working on large and complex assignments; ability to multitask and prioritize multiple project requests simultaneously

Strong ability to drive cross functional teams to alignment amid ambiguity

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to comfortably and effectively communicate with a variety of business leaders from operators, to physicians, to management

Both quantitative and qualitative analysis experience, with the ability to drive to trend identification and actionable insights

Role Desirables

Advanced degree in healthcare or business (MBA, MPH)

Experience with OTC solutions/business

Experience with Agile

Experience with new business pilot design

Strong ability to independently lead and manage a cross-functional teams to alignment amid ambiguity

Experience working with senior executives crafting and implementing strategies

COVID 19 Vaccination:

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated (preferred) or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work.
