Aon is looking for a Health Solutions, Pharmacy Consultant As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Aon's Health Solution practice, concentrating in the Pharmacy practice. This role can be based virtually within any of Aon's US offices. The Pharmacy Consultant is accountable for supporting senior pharmacy consultants in developing and executing the strategy to maximize pharmacy benefit savings and deliver results for our employer clients as well as supporting sales effectiveness designed to grow the pharmacy practice. Services include oversight of the pharmacy benefit manager (PBM), driving the procurement process to select a client’s PBM and ongoing consulting in support of managing pharmaceutical cost and care across both pharmacy and medical benefits. Experience in PBM request for proposal (RFP) selection process, specialty pharmacy and a strong client-focused background is critical for this role. The Pharmacy Consultant will: Support Client Services Delivery/Account Management for Existing ClientsSupport VP and Senior Pharmacy consultants with day to day account management activities including communications with clients, providing direction to project team, and presentation of results.Establish and maintain trusted, strategic relationships with clients and other pharmacy team members.Support VP and Senior Pharmacy consultants in developing a customized course of action for clients that enables them to proactively reduce risk and maximize savings.Works as part of client team to deliver solutions that exceed client expectationsBegins to identify and address client needs, providing consultative advice and recommendationsBegins to influence client decision makingBegins to establish & maintain client relationshipsUpon collection and manipulation of data, identifies and resolves inconsistencies and can make basic recommendations/interpretationsProvides edits to deliverables made by teamDrafts original materials with little guidance, including commentary on resultsSupport Business Development Initiatives that grow the pharmacy practiceContribute to expansion of additional services to existing clientsContribute to new sales of pharmacy solutionsAdvance Operational ExcellenceLook for ways to improve efficiency while maintaining qualityAdvance InnovationLeverage knowledge of the competitive PBM and healthcare landscape to analyze and interpret market and industry trends; provide insight to the team and other key internal partners regarding opportunities for service and product innovation.A qualified candidate will possess the following skills, attributes and expertise:4 years of relevant Pharmacy Benefit Consulting, PBM, or Health Plan pharmacy experience. Specialty pharmacy experience preferred.Knowledge of PBM procurement, specialty pharmacy, PBM pricing and contracting.Strong client focused account management backgroundAdvanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities.Exceptional project management, written and verbal communication skills.Experience collaborating within teams to produce results.Proven ability to work in a progressive, fast paced environment.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study.Ability to travel periodically around 10-15%.We offer youA competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.
