What We Do:

Directly, and through our subsidiaries, Omnicare provides a broad array of pharmacy-related services to long term care facilities and to other customers in the healthcare environment. While senior care has long been an Omnicare specialty, we also serve other targeted populations.

As a part of the Clinical Intervention Center Pharmacy Staff, you will be responsible for supervising the staff (Including but not limited to: PSTI Specialists, Triage, Adjudication, Initiation and Follow-Up Technicians), as directed by CIC Manager and/or CIC Senior Director.

- Resolving rejected clinical claims, checking and initiating PSTI opportunities, MTM and other Clinical Programs.

-Review, triage and perform clinical reject resolution includes working with all CIC staff, all customers, and all other Omnicare employees.

- Review, triage and execute therapeutic interchange and other clinical programs.

- Serve as a senior clinical advisor to other staff positions and serve as a professional role model to others as required.

- Review PSTI orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness as directed Where eligible and as needed, participate in additional licensing.

- Conduct in-services or conference calls in conjunction with the Managers.

- Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.

- Display behavior which exemplifies employee code of conduct guidelines.

- Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location.

This pharmacist will work a third shift position starting at 5 pm and ending at 1:30 am CST. Shifts worked are Mon-Fri. There is some holiday work. This is a full time opportunity.

**While this is currently a remote opportunity there could be a possibility that you would need to work at an Omnicare location nearest you in the future. This could require you to work all of your hours at an Omnicare office.**

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 37.50

Maximum: 80.75

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

Required Qualifications

-Must hold a current pharmacist license in the state of residence, license must be in good standing

-Must also be currently licensed or willing to obtain licensure in CT, DE, NY, OH, OR, WA, and IL plus any additional states as required to fulfill business needs (paid for by CVS)

Preferred Qualifications

-1 year of licensed pharmacist experience

-Licensed in multiple states (especially CA, CT, DE, ID, IN, KY, MI, MT, NJ, NY, NV, OR, PA, RI, SD, VT, WI, WV)

-Board of Pharmacy Specialties certification

-Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office programs.

-Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively cross-functionally with all levels

Education

BS Pharmacy or Pharmacy-D required
