Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, Clinical Pharmacist Supervisor, or the Director of Pharmacy, performs a wide variety of technical, clinical, and clerical duties for the hospital-wide unit-dose drug distribution system and intravenous admixture program. Responsible for maintaining confidential reports; entering and retrieving data utilizing the pharmacy information system; preparing intravenous medications including chemotherapeutic preparations, hyperalimentations, and antibiotics; refilling automated dispensing cabinets with unit dose medications; procuring and filling requests for pharmaceutical supplies; delivering medications and supplies to nursing units; and assisting pharmacists with clinical activities to foster professional development.

6. Maintains a professional working relationship with employees in other departments

7.1 Attends all required safety and educational programs.
8. Professional Development
8.1 Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, participates in clinical activities, interprets original doctor's orders, and fills prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients utilizing the pharmacy information system.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School Diploma required Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college of pharmacy
EXPERIENCE
Experience volunteering/working in a hospital pharmacy is a plus
LICENSURE
Eligible for technician license or limited pharmacist (intern) license
