Description

The Doctor Call Clarifications Queues Manager over sees a diverse team that dispenses or directly supports the clarification, processing, and dispensing of traditional prescription orders to be mailed to patients' homes and handles complex and/or escalated issues. This manager works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules and goals.

Responsibilities

The Doctor Call Queues Clarification Manager oversees a team that works to resolve problems related to drug interactions, dependencies, and department processes. This leader analyzes distribution patterns and supports pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who perform this work. Their teams contact physicians for prescriptions clarification and may enter prescription orders into pharmacy system for processing and distribution. Complies with all Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), federal, state, and company regulations, policies, and procedures. Decisions are typically related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area. Requires cross departmental and cross site collaboration, and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department and the business as a whole.

Required Qualifications

5 or more years of pharmacy or related health care field experience

3 or more years of leadership experience

Pharmacist License, Texas, Ohio or Florida Board of Pharmacy Technician License or ability to work towards an Texas, Ohio or Florida Board of Pharmacy Technician License

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy

Doctor of Pharmacy

3 or more years of management experience

5 or more years of Mail Order Pharmacy or Manufacturing Experience

Entry level familiarity with data analytics

Minimal efficiency in Excel and other cloud based business applications
