**Business Description**
The Ear, Nose, and Throat Operating Unit is a global leader and trusted partner for innovative ENT solutions that improve patient access, outcomes, and customer satisfaction. **A Day in the Life**
At Medtronic, the Sinuva Sales Specialist has the responsibility and authority to sell all Sinuva products to hospitals, physicians and other approved customers within the geographical limits of their territory to attain established quotas and sales objectives.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Promotes and sells Medtronic's Sinuva products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including physicians, nurses, hospital administrators, and practice managers.
Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's Sinuva products and/or services.
Provides support and service to clinical personnel as it relates to the products in a procedural environment.
Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.
Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities.
Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.

Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 3 years of medical/pharmaceutical sales experience
**Nice to Have**
3 years of oncology or other related specialty pharmaceutical selling experience
Pharma or biotechnology experience with key healthcare ecosystem players (e.g., payers, health systems)
Ability to work in an ambiguous environment undergoing transformation
Ability to understand and communicate complex clinical and product information
Knowledge of and ability to successfully address operational issues in the delivery of healthcare products to patients, such as reimbursement and supply
Understanding of external laws, codes and company policies that apply to the healthcare industry
Managed Care and/or Market Access experience
Successful medical sales record
Experience with sales and personnel management functions
Additional experience in marketing, training, technical services or related areas

**Physical Job Requirements**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile
Required to interact with a computer for extended periods of time, and communicate with peers and co-workers

Frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms
Regularly required to stand; walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus
This position is based out of the Representatives residence where physical effort is minimal; must be able to carry products.
Approximately 25% overnight travel will be required via reps driving throughout territory; air travel when required.
Requires the incumbent to maintain and transport demonstration equipment to customers premises as required. 30% physical handling of this equipment is therefore integral to the position.

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals. Learn more about total rewards here .
The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
