This position is responsible for achieving in-depth knowledge of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. software and becoming a content expert of the medication related components of all **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. software applications. The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for performing prior authorization (PA) reviews, developing and maintaining clinical PA criteria, evaluating clinical guidelines and providing consultation and support to the Call Center staff. This individual will assist in performing in-depth analyses of clinical issues associated with the use of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.s software applications. Supports client by providing data upon request, recommendations, and clinical support.

What youll do:
Reviews, creates, or maintains various documents /reports used internally as well as publicly and ensure the information is correct.
Reviews criteria updates quarterly and implements into **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.s software applications.
Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position including prior authorization reviews, quality control, and criteria management.
Meet and/or exceed production, quality, attendance and adherence standards.
Provide / assist in training of other employees.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned
What youll need:
Required Qualifications
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy is required.
Preferred Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree (Desired, not required).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
A combination of comprehensive therapeutic knowledge, problem-solving skills, and judgment is necessary.
Ability to work cooperatively with others; comprehension of the current standards of pharmacy practice; and understanding of the challenges of professional pharmacy practice.
Ability to master computer / software applications necessary for completing job tasks as required.
Ability to manage multiple employees and workloads at once and meet contractual deadlines.
Ability to understand functionality of applications for processing of PA reviews (approvals and denials).
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Excellent research and writing skills.
Experience
Preferred 6 months experience as a Pharmacist or 1-year residency (desired, not required).
License: Minimum - Licensed Pharmacist; holds an active and unrestrictive license in the State of operation.
Equipment Needed to Perform the Job: Personal computer with job-related software, telephone, calculator, and photocopier.
Travel: Occasional travel in common transportation carriers or personal automobile may be required to perform the job.
