Benefits business helps large and mid-size clients control health and welfare

plan costs, improve health outcomes and promote employee engagement through

broad-based, state-of-the-art interventions. We provide solutions

encompassing creative plan design, vendor evaluation and management, pricing

and funding strategies, data analytics, valuation support, compliance and

governance strategies. We also provide Specialty consulting services

including clinical/health management program design, pharmacy solutions,

disability/absence management strategies and claims audit services.

Product based solutions such as our pharmacy purchasing coalition round out our

broad-based suite of offerings.

As a Pharmacy Consultant you will consult with clients on a

wide variety of complex Pharmacy and broader Health and Group Benefits

projects. You will serve as the project manager and day to day communication

liaison with clients, create client deliverables, contribute to new business

activities, and participate in the creation of new intellectual capital.

The Role

Performance Objectives:


Deliver superior, consistent project management forassigned clients:

Draft statements of work, project plans and budgetsinvolving multiple workflow streams and client teams
Serve as the day to day project lead, ensuring theprogress of the team against established objectives, budget, timeline,deliverables and quality standards
Manage daily interactions with vendors (e.g., PBMs,health management vendors)

Serve as primary, daily contact to clients on deliveryof services
Manage client expectations and raise appropriate issuesto Senior Consultants and Client Relationship Managers
Interface with colleagues from other practices andregions on assignments that reflect the client’s broader business issues
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with clientcontacts through effective communication and efficient, quality executionof projects
Provide valued-added consulting support on large,sophisticated Pharmacy projects including:
Pharmacy benefit plan analysis, design and cost savingsstrategies
Pharmacy Benefits Manager vendor procurement andnegotiation
Audits of PBM performance (financial and operational)
Strategy for specialty pharmacy products
Evaluation of onsite pharmacies at client locations
Contribute pharmacy and related perspectives to broaderhealth and group benefits projects including care management strategy
Contribute to the development of new tools andapproaches
Meet revenue and billable hour goals as described bymanager:

Support the generation of new business as part of thebroader team
Support new business opportunities and enhanceexisting relationships
Directly contribute to clients’ success throughapplying your technical expertise

Build relationships internally and collaborateeffectively on cross-functional teams
Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealingwith clients/colleagues at all levels
Educate other Willis Towers Watson consultantsand associates on pharmacy related intellectual capital and market trends


The Requirements


Proven experience and success in the management ofgroup pharmacy benefits to premier clients, preferably gained in abenefits consulting, PBM or carrier environment
Proven experience successfully managing multipleprojects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget
Strong client relationship, interpersonal and teamskills
A professional presence with polished and welldeveloped oral and written communication skills
Self-starter attitude and ability to work withambiguity
Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolveissues
Strong analytical and creative skills
Business acumen to identify opportunities foradditional pharmacy or other human capital consulting work in support ofour clients’ strategies
The ability to see the big picture,leveraging the resources of related practices to address the clients'business challenges
Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to keepabreast of latest developments in pharmacy and health and group benefitsplan strategy and contribute to the development of new tools andapproaches
Ability to work both independently as well as on ateam, including interest in training/mentoring junior staff
Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word,Powerpoint)
BS degree in Pharmacy required, Pharm D. degreepreferred. R.Ph certification required
Experience and familiarity with health managementprograms preferred
Ability to travel 20%
