Maintain the commercial assessment of the US insulin market; impact of efforts announced by all major insulin manufacturers to reduce list prices and rebates. Develop the commercial forecasts and align with Lannett’s insulin partner, HEC Pharm. Collaborate and lead across Lannett and its insulin partner, HEC Pharm to ensure sufficient supply chain resources are in place to support commercialization efforts. Lead development of all Marketing plans and programs, including strategy, positioning, and messaging for all constituents, to achieve business goals for the insulin and future biosimilars portfolio. This includes website, social media, co-pay & patient assistance program development and management. Lead the collaboration with the Pricing team to establish list and contract pricing and associated rebates for trade and payer customers. Work with the Trade Sales team to negotiate contracts with customers to distribute our Insulin and future biosimilar portfolio. Builds relationships with significant accounts and stakeholders and interfaces with key customer to understand their needs, perspective, and issues while recruiting customer sources to deliver competitive intelligence and customer insights to effectively guide and design effective customer strategies. Work in conjunction with the Market Access team in the development of market access strategies for inline and pipeline products by conducting pre-modelling scenarios for market and competitor analyses, stakeholder, and payer research. Assist in the development, as well as manage and maintain reimbursement and contracting strategies through-out product lifecycle that align with optimal market performance Work in conjunction with the Senior leadership team in the building of the required commercial organization using a mix of internal and 3rd party resources and coordinate the activities of the 3rd party resources. Provide commercial leadership in all public policy efforts designed to expedite approval at FDA, represent Lannett in Washington DC and interact with various State Governments. Work with Patient Advocacy groups to build programs to address patient needs Collaborate with the Portfolio Management team to identify additional insulins and biosimilars to add to our future portfolio.REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred A minimum of 15 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry including experience in biotech/specialty sales involving direct negotiation with payers to maintain formulary coverage. Lesser but relevant years of experience may be considered 5 years in senior commercial positions with demonstrated ability to build and lead teams composed of internal and external resources through inspirational as well as hands-on leadership Previous experience in biosimilars preferred Previous experience in diabetes therapeutic space preferred Ability to navigate and be successful in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment Well-organized, analytical, and detail-oriented executive with the ability to identify/focus on key issues, prioritize efforts, and ensure follow up with timely/quality results Demonstrated collaboration and cross-functional leadership with internal teams, with the ability to influence key decision makers Strategic, “out of the box” thinker who develops creative solutions to complex problemAbility to travel approximately 40% (domestic and international)
